Tech Social Impact Conference
Website Design
The client, a Lead UX Researcher at Google, is having their own amazing conference in Spring 2017. In their words: "This conference takes a reflective and critical look at the wider implications of technologies in society, developing intentional awareness on those implications in our design, making, and research. Ultimately, this conference challenges the tech industry to develop an idea of what impact means to them and their projects, supporting them to become more confident and critical designers, makers, and researchers."
I was tasked to design a user-friendly landing page/website for the launch of the Conference. With the idea of attracting users to the conference, I made sure to highlight the main focus, ideas and facts throughout the design. With wireframes provided, I created multiple mockups to show ways we can reach the users. I choose two options of color themes: fuschia, purple, gray and mustard, brown, gray. This website will be live late Spring 2016.
