Hiya! I’m Zalyia pronounced Za-lee-yah. I'm a young Afro-Caribbean millennial who loves solving problems and using cross-cultured experiences to do it.

 

From studying Ethnomusicology, to starting my own greeting card business, now as a User Experience Designer, my thought process has grown to be very unique to understanding and aligning with people’s culture, emotions. and ideologies. With focuses such as multicultural design and accessibility, I help entrepreneurs and companies to redesign their digital and physical user experiences.

 

I'm currently a Lead UX Designer at General Electric Digital responsible for delivering designs for autonomous applications providing internal global users with trusting experiences with apps that leverage that data to protect GE's Cyber Security.
