Juneteenth NYC

UX Consultation | Landing Page

Juneteenth is an event that celebrates freedom for all, worldwide. Juneteenth promotes unity and builds self-esteem through reflection, education, and through acknowledgement of achievements. This event encourages people of all races, nationalities and ethnicities to join together to support and participate in Juneteenth celebrations - a true testament to humanity. 

The event planner, Umojaa Events, behind Juneteenth NYC contacted me to work on a redesign for the event's website. The old site was hard to navigate, unresponsive and unappealing. After a formal consultation, we concluded that a responsive website with distinct, bright and large features would be best to serve her users of ages 30-65.
